Real Estate Photographers
Real Estate Photographers specialize in real estate photography and often only do or primarily do real estate photography. Real estate photographers are trained, albeit usually self-trained, and experienced in the unique challenges of photographing homes and buildings for the purposes or selling or leasing. The clients of the real estate photographers are typically real estate agents.
As with all photography the two most important factors in real estate photography are composition and lighting. Many real estate agents are taking their own pictures with their cameras or more commonly their phones and using them instead of hiring a real estate photographer. It is not possible to produce beautiful impressive images of real estate with little automatic cameras, especially phone cameras. And even if you had all the proper equipment if you had no training and experience the results wouldn’t be much different from what you get from a phone camera. These images certainly have poor composition and poor lighting and disappoint prospects but realtors figure they just need to be good enough to get people to schedule an appointment and I can save a few hundred dollars by not hiring a professional real estate photographer. However, professional images from professional real estate photographers are so much more impressive, pleasant to look at, and informative that prospects will favor real estate with professional images in a similar way that prospects will favor real estate with images and ignore properties with no images.
Now there is a new kind of real estate photography that really makes your properties stand out from the others and attract interest, 3D photography. 3D real estate photographer produce 3D virtual tours that allow prospects to immerse themselves into the home or building so much so that long-distance shoppers often make confident decisions about leases and purchases without an in-person visit. We suggest having both professional photos and a 3D virtual tour for best results.
